About Me
I have found my lifes calling in this work...
15 years ago at an art workshop in Italy I had the good fortune to have a single Rolfing treatment. It touched me beyond my body, into my psyche and emotional patterns. I knew then that this was what I wanted to do with my life. It took me 13 years to find my teacher, John Latz founder of the Institute of Structural Integration. John Latz teaches the work the way it's creator, Ida Rolf intended. I now have over 1000 hours of training under the tutelage of John. Although an artist by nature I question everything like a scientist. I want to know how and why things work. I continuously receive work from John Latz. The proof of this bodywork is in my own body, and since completing the advanced training I am a unfaltering believer in the work.
In my teens I suffered a back injury while competing in gymnastics. Even though I quit gymnastics the pain lingered. I could not stand for long periods of time, even sitting was tedious. I lived with this pain for over 20 years until I found my teacher and Rolfing. I now no longer have constant discomfort in my back. The impact Structural Integration has had on my life goes beyond the physical. I have come to a new maturity, wisdom, confidence and peacefulness as a result. The energetics of Structural Integration, especially when combined with Reiki is unlike any other body work. Under a skilled body worker it will feel as if someone is reaching into your soul, expanding its boundaries, whispering to it to balance and heal.

I graduated from Bennington College with a Bachelors in the Fine Arts and Holistic Healing. After college I got a job at a home for the mentally ill, Merry Meadows, where I worked as a day counselor and lead an art therapy class. Soon after moving to Florida I got my massage license at The Florida College of Natural Health. I worked as a massage therapist in many environments from a chiropractors office to a day spa for the last 15 years. For the past 8 years I have been practicing Structural Integration.

Session one: you will be able to take fuller breathes, your pelvis will fit better and be a more stable base for your torso.
Session 2: your legs will be more supportive, they will stack better beneath you. Your feet will feel solid in the ground and grounding both physically and otherwise will be strong.
Session 3:
This session will provide you with better front to back balance. You will feel longer and more at ease with your body

Session 5: even though the majority of the session is working in the abdomen, the effects are all in the lumbars. More space gives freedom for the organs to function better.

Session 10: continues the integration process. Order will be systematically put into your entire body. Horizontals are enforced in your structure which supports the joints in your body, ankles, knees, pelvis...
